Navi Mumbai, October 6, 2026: Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), India’s largest private airport operator, has launched the 80-room Swirl Transit Hotel at Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), offering passengers a convenient place to rest, freshen up or work while at the airport.
Located across two floors at the arrivals level of Terminal 1, the transit hotel has been designed to meet the needs of passengers requiring a longer stay, early departures, late arrivals or short stays. Guests can choose between a four-hour stay or an overnight stay, with hotel services including showers and dining facilities.

Commenting on the launch, Suchit Bansal, Chief Executive Officer – Non-Aeronautical Business, Adani Airports, said that the Swirl Transit Hotel gives passengers greater flexibility to rest and work between flights while providing a comfortable, accommodation-like experience within the airport environment.

He further said that Navi Mumbai International Airport is being developed as a major hub for aviation and passenger services, and offerings such as Swirl will further enhance the convenience of air travel. Adani Airports is also looking at opportunities to introduce similar transit hospitality services at other airports across its network.
Navi Mumbai International Airport is among India’s major greenfield international airport projects and has been developed to meet the growing demand for air travel in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Following the commencement of commercial operations on December 25, 2025, the airport began international operations on July 29, 2026, with its first international flight to Abu Dhabi. The launch of the Swirl Transit Hotel adds another hospitality offering to the airport’s expanding passenger and non-aeronautical services ecosystem.
The Swirl Transit Hotel features 80 rooms across six categories — Superior Single, Superior Double, Superior Twin, Superior Accessible, Junior Suite and Executive Suite. Room sizes range from 130 sq. ft. to 410 sq. ft.
Hotel amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, smart televisions, dedicated workstations, electronic safes, tea and coffee facilities, premium bed and bath linen, toiletries and in-room dining.
Guests can also access services such as express laundry, concierge assistance, 24-hour housekeeping, pick-up and drop-off services, and wake-up calls.
The property also features a 24-hour dining restaurant with seating for 40 guests, along with in-room dining, grab-and-go options and a wine bar.
Adani Airports plans to launch another Swirl Transit Hotel in the future at Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati. The proposed facility will have 21 rooms and will be located on Level 3 of the arrivals area within the airport-secured zone of Terminal 2.
The Guwahati transit hotel will offer hourly and overnight stays along with dining and hospitality services. Dedicated workstations and meeting-friendly spaces will enable passengers to continue working between flights.
The launch of the Swirl Transit Hotel is part of Adani Airport Holdings’ expansion of non-aeronautical services across its airport network. The initiative is aimed at strengthening the range of services available within the airport environment while providing passengers with additional options for rest, work and short stays.
