Ahmedabad | October 9, 2026 :- The Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), led by its Chairman, CA Sourabh Ajmera, along with the WIRC office bearers, visited the ICAI Ahmedabad Branch on Friday, October 9, 2026, in connection with SANGAM 2026, a two-day, multi-track professional conference being hosted by the Ahmedabad Branch on October 9 and 10, 2026, at ICAI Bhawan, Ghatlodia, Ahmedabad.
The visit highlighted the importance of regional collaboration, professional excellence and collective efforts to create new learning and growth opportunities for Chartered Accountants across Gujarat.
SANGAM 2026 is a landmark initiative bringing together all 14 ICAI branches of Gujarat on a common platform to encourage knowledge sharing, professional networking and the exchange of ideas. The conference is designed around the theme “Relearn. Refresh. Update.”, reflecting the need for Chartered Accountants to continuously upgrade their knowledge and skills in a rapidly evolving professional environment.
The conference features multiple technical tracks covering key areas such as Income Tax, GST, Artificial Intelligence in Audit, outsourcing opportunities for Chartered Accountants, capital markets, practice management, professional ethics and peer review. The programme aims to equip members with contemporary knowledge, practical insights and a broader perspective on emerging opportunities in India and globally.
