Ahmedabad, October 14, 2026: The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has announced admissions for the second batch of its two-year Blended MBA Programme in Business Analytics & Artificial Intelligence (BPGP: BA & AI), aimed at working professionals and entrepreneurs seeking to build expertise in analytics, artificial intelligence and data-driven business decision-making.
Developed by IIMA’s Krishnamurthy Tandon School of Artificial Intelligence, the programme combines management education with advanced analytics, machine learning and AI. It is designed to prepare professionals for leadership roles in an increasingly data-intensive business environment.
Blended Learning with Campus Modules
The two-year programme is spread across six academic terms. It combines live, direct-to-device classes with three on-campus modules at the IIMA campus, enabling working professionals to pursue the degree while continuing their careers.
The curriculum covers areas including management, statistics, analytical modelling, machine learning and advanced AI. Participants will gain practical exposure through case discussions, simulations, capstone assignments and action-learning projects.
The programme also offers electives in areas such as Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics, Generative AI, Agentic AI, AI Ethics, Product Management, Finance and Risk Management, Supply Chain Digitisation, and Human-AI Collaboration.
One-Year Exit Option
A key feature of the programme is its flexible exit pathway. Participants who complete the first year can exit with a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Analytics and AI.
Those who complete the full two-year programme will receive the MBA degree and become part of IIM Ahmedabad’s global alumni network.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, including CA, CS, ICWA or CMA, with at least 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA from a recognised university.
Candidates must also have relevant full-time work experience. Those with a three-year undergraduate degree must have at least three years of full-time work experience, while candidates with a four-year undergraduate degree require at least two years of full-time work experience, calculated as of March 31, 2027.
Admission Test Requirements
Applicants can submit a valid CAT, GMAT or GRE score, with the test taken no earlier than January 1, 2022. IIMA also provides an alternative route through its own admission test for the BPGP: BA & AI programme.
