In Ahmedabad, Sector 2 Sqaud, arrested fom Rabari Colony Amraiwadi area Sumit Jatinder Vij, his wife Aditi and father Jatinder Jagganth Vij in connection with Rs 50 crore fraud from Mohali,Punjab.
Sumit had a company in the name of Vij Sun Finance in Mohali, Punjab in the year 2006 where on returns upto 25 to 50 % he was collecting money from investors from localites and Punjab Civil Sachivalaya. Collected money they used to invest in share market. due to fraud on May 17 one Jagdeepsingh committed suicide.
When in 2013 Sumit made loss in share market, silently fleed from Mohali by closing his office overnight, where 200 investors filed FIR with Punjab Police. Gujarat Police was alerted by Punjab Police. On fear of accused runing flying abroad Lookout Notice was issued by Punjab Police.
To impress investors, Sumit used luxuries cars like BMW, Fortuner and Eco Sports.
Punjab Police is in Ahmedabad to custody of fraud family in financial scam of Rs 50 crores.
