Yesterday, Patidars took out Swabhiman Padyatra from Mehsana to Unjha in which 40,000 to 45,000 Patidars took part and reached upto Goddess Uma. Patidars shouted slogans of Jay Sardar Jay Patidar. The rally had Bhajan Mandalis, Camal carts, bullock carts, tractors and bikes with Patidars. More than 1,100 volunteers joined Yatra and made arrangements for Patidars. The Rally went out amidst tight police security to avoid any untoward incident, as per sources.
