Today in Ahmedabad, Gujarat government has committed to follow installation of 100 CCTV cameras in different police stations as per directive of Gujarat High Court. With this directions, the court disposed of a PIL filed by Jagega Gujarat with demand to equip all police stations with CCTV cameras to curb custodial torture.
