Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi today dedicated and laid foundation stone of four developmental projects worth Rs. 750 crores at Modasa of Aravalli district in presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani.
On the occasion two world records have been created on the land of Aravalli. Along with as many as 187 orphan children about 3000 children from Aravalli have created a world record by creating 40 ft. x 30 ft. i.e. 1200 feet long envelope mosaic image. Formerly this record was namely created in China during year 2013 which was 721 feet long. The school children have created pictorial depiction of PM Mr. Narendra Modi led Union Government’s various public welfare schemes. These children also have established a world record with creating 2250 feet long Cookies’ Mosaic (image of biscuit). Formerly, this record was namely created in Jordan during year 2016 which was 2000 feet long.
This world record was established in august presence of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani. Representatives from Guinness Book of World Record and District Collector Ms. Shalini Agarwal have jointly handed- over certificate to PM. Dignitories present on the occasion have congratulated District Collector Ms. Shalini Agarwal and Team Aravalli for their inspirational and creative approach towards orphan children. On the occasion, members of State Cabinet Ministry, Senior Officers, office-bearers and huge number of people from Aravalli district were remained present.

Gandhinagar, Friday: Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today inaugurated the exhibition on textile sector at Helipad Grounds Exhibition Centre here at Gandhinagar. Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri Chandrababu Naidu, Union Minister of Textile Smt. Smriti Irani and Minister of State for Textiles Department Shri Ajay Tamta were also present for the inauguration of the exhibition. The exhibition is a part of the first of its kind Textile India Summit 2017. This maiden initiative is a collaborative effort of 24 Export Promotion Councils under the Ministry of Textiles and with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as Industry Partner. This mega exhibition will showcase India’s strength in the entire gamut of textile and apparel value chain from fibre to fashion. The exhibition is a platform to strengthen the textile value chain in India and offers a perfect environment for B2B engagements to explore new partnerships, business relationships, investment opportunities and technological tie-ups across various segments.
The Textile India Exhibition is being held at Helipad Ground of Gandhinagar and is open to general public from 30 June, 2017 to 2 June, 2017. It is spread over 78,000 sq meters area in 13 exhibition halls. More than 1500 national and international exhibitors from the textile sector are exhibiting their products and services. Over 2500 International Buyers and 15000 domestic visitors are expected to attend the exhibition. The Textile India 2017 will have Conferences, B2B-B2G- G2G Meetings, Theme Pavilion, Fashion Show, Exhibition, Roundtables, State Sessions, Country Sessions, Investors Meet, ASEAN India Seminar and Signing of MoUs.
