Today in response to contempt petition, two justice bench led by Vikramnath and AJ Shastry of Gujarat High Court questioned AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Commissiner Vijay Nehra and Chief Secretary of Gujarat JN Singh over prevailing issues of poor roads, traffic congestion, stray animal etc. Chief Secretary Singh to file reply in the high court. Next hearing is scheduled on 28th November.
Petitioner Kadri has blamed that compared to 2017, condition of roads in Ahmedabad city has worsened. He had demanded to widen footpath of busiest street of CG Road and surfacing of the road.
