India’s victorious women’s Under-19 team will be felicitated by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) office-bearers and legendary Sachin Tendulkar at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, as announced Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) President Dhanraj Nathwani.
“India’s Under-19 women’s cricket team has recently become world champions. For their achievement, the winning women’s team will be felicitated by BCCI before T20 match between India and New Zealand to be played at Narendra Modi Stadium on Wednesday, February 01, 2023 at 6:30 pm,” Nathwani said in a press release.
On the occasion, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and BCCI officials will honour players of the winning team. India’s all-time great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar will make a special appearance on Wednesday to felicitate this special achievement of the Indian women’s cricket team and will encourage the players, the statement added.
