Gandhinagar, 29th December, 2025: Aarihant Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Institute, under Swarnim Startup & Innovation University, organised an academic visit for its students to Gandhinagar District Co-Operative Milk Producers Union Limited (Madhur Dairy) on Friday. Organised as part of their Swasthavritta and Yoga curriculum, the visit was led by Dr Sonali Ladhi, Professor and Head of Department, along with faculty members Dr Suraj SR and Dr Dharmisha.
Some 70 second-year BAMS students were given a structured orientation on the dairy’s layout, capacity and operations.
Students observed the end-to-end milk processing cycle, from procurement and initial quality checks to pasteurisation, homogenisation, standardisation and hygienic packaging. Detailed demonstrations of quality control tests, including fat content, SNF and adulterant detection, highlighted food safety protocols.
The visit helped students gain practical insights into hygienic food handling and industrial health standards.
