The Abhyudaya Mahasammelan, organized by the Thakor community in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, was held with the objective of awakening youth power and addressing key social issues such as addiction, employment, education, and overall societal development.
The large-scale community gathering witnessed the presence of prominent leaders and public figures including Alpesh Thakor, Vikram Thakor, Jagdish Thakor, and Geniben Thakor, who emphasized the need for unity, awareness, and constructive participation of youth in nation-building.
During the event, speakers highlighted the growing challenges faced by young people and stressed the importance of steering youth away from addiction while creating better opportunities in education and employment. The Mahasammelan served as a platform to discuss social reforms and developmental initiatives aimed at strengthening the community.
Renowned folk singer Kirtidan Gadhvi, addressing the gathering, congratulated the Thakor community and remarked, “Thakor is not just a caste, it is also a strong voice of opposition,” underlining the community’s role in social and political discourse.
The Abhyudaya Mahasammelan concluded with a call for collective efforts towards social harmony, empowerment of youth, and inclusive development across Gujarat.
