Actor Pankaj Dheer has passed away today at the age of 68 after a battle with cancer. The Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) confirmed his death and released a statement.
He was best known for his iconic portrayal of Karna in the TV series “Mahabharat. His health had deteriorated following a relapse of cancer in recent months, and he had undergone surgery.The cremation is scheduled for today at 4:30 PM at Pawan Hans crematorium, Vile Parle West, Mumbai. He is survived by his wife Anita Dheer and son Nikitin Dheer (an actor).
