Ahmedabad Crime Branch has arrested a suspended teacher, Sanjay Babulal Patel, for allegedly cheating people of ₹400–₹500 crores by luring them with promises to double their money. He deceived investors under the pretext of investing in gold, bullion, and bulk airline ticket businesses.The accused reportedly owns properties worth crores in Dubai and has also established gold showrooms and hotels in Surat.
On Wednesday morning, some of the victims are expected to file complaints at the Ahmedabad Crime Branch.
