Ahmedabad: in rape on deaf and dumb girl of Vikas Gruh; permission requested from HC to abort 22 week pregnancy

In Ahmedabad, a petition has been filed seeking permission to abort 22 week pregnancy in rape case on deaf and dumb girl of Vikas Gruh in Paldi area. President of Vikas Gruh has made the petition in Gujarat High Court. HC has directed to send girl for medical check-up in VS Hospital and submit report by 4^th Auagust. Judgement on whether or not to permit termination of pregnancy will be taken on 4^th August by High Court. It may be noted that on complaint of rape of deaf and dumb girl in Vikas Gruh, clerk was arrested by police.
