Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik has issued a notification for enhanced security measures and strict implementation of law and order in the city and prohibiting anti social activities which can hamper peace and harmony of the state. The ban is effective from 27th April 2025 11.00 hrs till 11th May 2025 24.00 hrs. The notification is applicable to empowerment of Ahmedabad Police Commissioner.
Prohibition is imposed on possessing sharp weapons, inflammable stuff including mashal etc, preventing from provocative/imitative speeches, possessing of effigy, cartoons/drawings.
Violator of the notification will be booked under Gujarat Police Act 135.
All officials On Duty possessing arms for Official Reasons are exempted from the penalty of this notification.
