Today on November 30th , Gujarat 1985 IAS cadre Anil Mukim took charge of next Chief Secretary of Gujarat post completion of tenure of successor Dr JN Singh (Jagadip Narayan Singh) . Mukim assumed charge of office in Gujarat government. In May 2019, chief secretary Singh was granted 6 months of extension by Gujarat government.
