Ahmedabad, 13th February, 2026: The Vidyabhavan Trust, which runs the Navgujarat Group of Colleges, on Wednesday organised an interactive session by institute alumnus, Shri Anil Patel, for students of all the group-run colleges. Shri Anil Patel currently serves as Executive Chairman at Grant Thornton in Uganda, a globally renowned professional services firm.
The session was organised to inspire young minds and guide them towards professional excellence. Shri Snehal Shah, Managing Trustee of Navgujarat Group of Colleges, also remained present at the event.
Drawing from his professional journey, Shri Anil Patel spoke about the value and importance of education, integrity and strong moral foundations in shaping a successful career. He also discussed various professional pathways, such as Chartered Accountancy (CA), Company Secretary (CS), and CMA, encouraging students to pursue their ambitions with discipline and perseverance.
Sharing his own transition from college life to becoming a leader at the top professional firm, he urged students not to fear setbacks. “Do not be afraid of failure — keep trying. Failure eventually will lead to success,” he said.
The session was attended by the students of two commerce colleges, Prin. M C Shah Commerce College and C. C. Sheth College of Commerce.
