Gandhinagar, March 17, 2026: Arjun Modhwadia addressed a press interaction in Gandhinagar, emphasizing the Gujarat government’s commitment to tackling climate change as part of its broader budgetary priorities.

Speaking in the context of the state budget and environmental policy, Modhwadia underlined that climate change has emerged as a critical focus area for the government. He stated that policy planning is increasingly aligned with sustainable development, ecological balance, and long-term environmental protection.

The minister, who handles portfolios related to environment and climate change, highlighted that Gujarat is integrating green growth strategies with economic expansion. He noted that investments in environmental conservation, clean energy, and scientific management of natural resources are being prioritized in the current budget framework.
