CR Patil has completed 5‑years term as President of BJP Bharatiya Janta Party’s Gujarat unit. He took office on 20 July 2020. As of 19 July 2025, he has served a full five years. During his tenure, the party achieved notable victories — including 2022 Gujarat Assembly election, where BJP secured a record 156 of 182 seats.
