Ahmedabad, February 7, 2026 — Renowned Bollywood Producer Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha addressed a press conference in Ahmedabad today ahead of the theatrical release of his upcoming film Assi, which is slated to hit cinemas on February 20, 2026.
In media interaction at the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) Director talked about Assi, on 80 rape cases movie insight and a creative journey, and relevance in the contemporary cinematic landscape. The film revoles around rape case. After the trailer launch expectations of makers are very high. It took about a year to complete the movie.
Anubhav said it is reality based story and he had a deep delibration on the movie theme and script before bringing it to viewers.
