After a thorough inspection of the entire Assembly complex, authorities confirmed that no suspicious object or explosive material was found, declaring the threat a hoax. Following clearance from security teams, Assembly proceedings, which were temporarily halted, later resumed.
Officials stated that cybercrime teams have launched an investigation to trace the origin of the threatening email and identify those responsible. Strict action is expected against the culprits for causing panic and disrupting legislative work.
This incident comes amid a series of similar hoax threats reported across Gujarat in recent weeks, targeting public institutions such as schools and courts. Authorities have reiterated that every threat is treated with utmost seriousness to ensure public safety.
