Today in Surat district, fire was reported in a factory of perfumary products in Udhyognagar area of Udhna o road no 8. Chemical used in factory would have led to fire. Five fire fighters rush to the spot. No major loss is reported.

Bharuch: Rs 10.45 lakhs of imported liquor recovered from Ankleshwar GIDC
Today from Bharuch district, from Ankleshwar GIDC one truck was recovered carrying imported liqour worth Rs 10.45 lakhs by Bharuch Rural police. Liquor worth Rs 10.87 lakhs and total material of Rs 22.87 lakhs was seized. One person was arrested by police. Police Inspector DN Chaudhary is investigating the case.

Two days back, incident of lion making den in a lemon farm in Kodiya village in Khambha taluka of Amreli district. Today when farmers were plucking lemon they were attacked by lion. Injured farmer admitted to hospital.
