Today being Poonam, Fullmoon day in Ambaji town of Banaskantha, there was a big procession, Nagar Yatra of lakhs of followers of Goddess Ambaji on Hindu Calender month Margashirsha. Goddess Ambaji was offered a herbal cake. Ambaji was filled with lakhs followers who performed prayers and puja with lot of faith and enthusiasm.
Today in Gandhinagar, it was announced by Regional Officers that Food Security Act will be applicable in Gujarat state with effect from April 1, 2016. It was confirmed by Civil supplies authorities. Benefit of Food Safety Act in Gujarat will be extended to 4 crore people BPL Below Poverty Line.
