AMC authorities destroys 700 kilogram of artificially ripened mangoes
In Ahmedabad AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s Heath department recovered several kilograms of carbide during raid at fruit markets on mango vendors at various places in the city. The officials penalised vendors and issued notice for using calcium carbide to ripen mangoes. Some 700 kilogram of artificially ripened mangoes were destroyed by AMC authorities.
