Ahmedabad, 19th January 2026: Daulatbhai Trivedi Law College, part of the Navgujrat Group of Colleges, organized a Moot Court on 17thJanuary , 2026, aimed at familiarizing students with the newly enacted Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023. The event provided participants with practical experience in judicial proceedings, witnessing enthusiastic participation from 60 students.
The proceedings focused on a hypothetical legal challenge titled “State of Gujarat vs. Chhaganbhai & Others.” The competition was presided over by Dr. Kanakbhai Makwana, Assistant Professor at Mansukhbhai J. Medani Law College, Kalol, who evaluated students on their legal research, presentation, and interpretation of the new statutes. The program was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. Ankitkumar Rami, with Dr. Lataben Menant as Event Coordinator. The formal vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Rinku Darji.
