Daulatbhai Trivedi Law College Students Gain Practical Exposure through Visit to Gujarat University Police Station

Ahmedabad, September 22, 2025: Students of Daulatbhai Trivedi Law College, which is part of the Navgujarat Group of Colleges, on Monday visited the Gujarat University Police Station as part of their academic curriculum, aimed at bridging classroom learning with real-world practice. The visit was designed to give students a first-hand understanding of the procedures and responsibilities involved in law enforcement.

Police Inspector Ms SR Bawa, Gujarat University Police Station, guided the students during the visit. She offered a detailed overview of the daily functioning of the station, the process of lodging a First Information Report (FIR), stages of criminal investigation, and the pivotal role of the police in upholding law and order. The session was very interactive, with students engaging in discussions and seeking clarifications on various aspects of policing.

On this occasion, Dr Ankit Rami, In-charge Principal of the institute, expressed his gratitude to Inspector Bawa and the police staff for extending their support and sharing valuable insights. He emphasised that such experiential learning opportunities are vital for the holistic development of future legal professionals.

The visit was coordinated and successfully managed by faculty member Dr Rinku Darji.
