Bill on salary hike on Gujarat MLAs unanimously passed by Governor

Today in Gandhinagar , a bill on salary hike on Gujarat MLAs was unanimously passed by Gujarat governor Om Prakash Kohli in the monsoon session. Accordingly, the monthly salary of the Gujarat MLAs will be hiked to Rs 1.16 lakh as against the existing Rs 70,727 per month, at a  rise of about 64%.
