Today Multiple MOUs Memorandum of Understandings were signed by Labour and Employment Minister Balvantsinh Rajput. Drone Training Centers and new buildings of ITIs were virtually inaugurated by the minister.
Also Union Minister Nimuben Bambhaniya’s virtual inauguration and Minister of State for Labour and Employment Kunwarji Halpati were present.

Minister Balwantsinh Rajput inaugurated newly constructed buildings of ITI Bhavnagar, Pratapnagar and Devbhoomi Dwarka built at a cost of more than Rs. 58 crores. Today multiple MoUs were signed with Kaushalya – The Skill University and Narmada Rural Development Society, Nametech and Ahmedabad Custom Broker Association for the employment-seeking youth of the state in Gandhinagar by Labour and Employment Minister Rajput. Apart from this, Cabinet Minister inaugurated the newly constructed Drone Training Center Bilimora and Mandvi-Surat under the School of Drone of Kaushalya – The Skill University.

The newly constructed building of ITI Bhavnagar, Pratapnagar and Devbhoomi Dwarka, built at a cost exceeding Rs. 85 crores, was E-Launched by the Minister. On the occasion, Union Minister Nimuben Bamania Virtually and Minister of State for Labor and Employment Kunwarji Halpati were present. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that MOU with the ‘Narmada Rural Development Society’ running under the control of GNFC Bharuch. Through Kaushalya- The Skill University, approved degrees, diplomas, certificates and other short-term-long-term courses will be approved and run as per the demand, Training of Trainers – Industrial Training Institute, Pradhan Mantri Kaushalya Vikas Yojana and other industries will be trained, skill courses will be started in line with the latest technology as per the market demand, work will be done on research-consulting and training programs will also be organized for the youth of the state in competitions like World Skill Competition.
Through this MoU, the course run by Nametech will be provided affiliation as per regulations by Kaushalya- The Skill University, approved degrees, diplomas, certificates and other short-term courses approved by the university will be approved and run as per the demand of the time, facilities of theory, practical, demonstration, laboratory, workshop etc. will be provided, services of expert faculty for training work Will be provided by Nametech, trainers will be trained from time to time and the successful candidates will be helped for Nametech placement.
Kaushalya- The Skill University and Ahmedabad Custom Broker Association MOU : Innovative courses related to the logistics sector will be prepared with the help of the association, it will help in providing the necessary skills to the youth of the state to provide employment and self-employment, training and research related to the logistics sector will be linked with the relevant industry houses as per the demand of the industry houses, this association will help in creating awareness about the latest technologies and skills as per the demand of the industry.
The Minister said that till now two Drone Pilot Training Centers are opeational under the School of Drone by Kaushalya- The Skill University at Swarnim University and Kaushalya- The Skill University Campus, Shilj.
Gujarat government has taken steps to create necessary infrastructure facilities in 19 ITI institutions of the state so that the youth of the state can get drone pilot training at home. Out of which, in the first phase, ITI Bilimora and ITI Mandvi-Surat have also received recognition as Remote Pilot Training Organization i.e. Drone Pilot Training Center from the DGCA Director General of Civil Aviation of Central Government, New Delhi.
The Minister further added that through Drone Pilot Training, youth of the state will be able to work as trained Drone Pilots in fields like Agriculture, Real Estate, Film Making, Inspection such as Power Lines, Oil Pipelines, Survey and Mapping. Through this training, youth can also earn a good living by doing Photography-Videography, Aerial Survey Work.
The new building of ITI Industrial Training Institute at Bhavnagar, built at a cost of Rs 36 crores, was inaugurated by the Minister, in which 45 Workshops, 35 Theory Rooms, 14 other Rooms and an IT Lab have been constructed. Similarly, 22 Workshops, 17 Theory Rooms, 14 other rooms, a Library and an IT Lab have been constructed at Devbhoomi Dwarka at a cost exceeding Rs 14 crores.
In addition, 9 Workshops, 9 Theory Rooms, 8 other Rooms, a Library and an IT Lab have been constructed at a cost exceeding Rs 8 crores at Pratapnagar in Narmada district, providing many facilities. It has been prepared at a cost of Rs. 58 crores, which was E-Launched by the Minister.
On the occasion, MLAs and leaders of Narmada, Devbhoomi Dwarka and Bhavnagar, Principal Secretary of Department of Labour, Skill Development and Employment Dr. Vinod Rao, MD of GNFC Dr. T. Natarajan, Director General of Kaushalya- The Skill University Dr. SP Singh, Registrar Ms. Rekha Nair, Chief Skill Development were present.
