As per CMO sources, Gujarat Chief minister Anandiben Patel will make her first foreign visit as CM to Australia in the month of August. Sources said, “The CM will visit Australia post budget session. It will be her maiden foreign visit after becoming the Chief Minister of Gujarat. She will be accompanied by a team of Gujarat ministers and officials concerned.”During her visit, the CM will focus on visiting major port and infrastructure related projects, interact with business and government representatives and meet members of the Indian community. She may meet the Australian Prime Minister or senior ministers to invite them to the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Summit. She will also meet prominent Indians in Australia and invite them to Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) celebration in January 2015.
