Gandhinagar, Gujarat – In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047’, Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel has reaffirmed his commitment to advancing ‘Viksit Gujarat @ 2047’ by strengthening the state’s administrative framework. As part of these efforts, the Gujarat Administrative Reforms Commission (GARC) has been formed to recommend key improvements in governance and administrative processes.

On Tuesday, GARC Chairman Dr. Hasmukhbhai Adhia submitted the Commission’s sixth recommendation report to the Chief Minister in Gandhinagar. The report presents nine major recommendations aimed at making the state recruitment process faster, more transparent, technology-enabled, and youth-centric.

The proposed reforms are designed to ensure that recruitment cycles are completed within less than one year, enabling Gujarat’s youth to secure timely and transparent employment opportunities. The recommendations also aim to speed up the process of filling vacant government posts, thereby enhancing administrative efficiency and accelerating public service delivery across the state.

The Gujarat government believes that implementing these recommendations will significantly contribute to building a modern, efficient, and responsive administrative system aligned with the long-term vision of a developed Gujarat.
