Shimoga, Karnataka: Gujarat registered a commanding victory over Tripura by an innings and 29 runs in the ongoing BCCI Vijay Merchant Trophy Men’s U-16 (2025-26) tournament at KSCA Navule Stadium, Shimoga.
Winning the toss, Gujarat elected to field first and dominated the match from start to finish, producing a powerful all-round team display to seal an outright victory along with a bonus point.
Tripura 1st Innings – 241 All Out
Tripura, batting first, posted 241 runs in 131.5 overs.
The innings was held together by an excellent knock from Rajdeep Debnath, who scored 92 runs off 253 balls, including 10 boundaries.
