Today in Ahmedabad, 2 persons were arrested from Chandkheda area with a cash of Rs 74 lakhs in old notes. 2 persons arrested were Haresh Patel and Vanibhai Bhogi, were carrying money for exchanging them with new notes at discount.

Ahmedabad: two convicts in Godhra riots case applied for interim bail; HC rejects bail

Today in Ahmedabad, two convicts Ibrahim Abdul Razak Satta life imprisonment convict and capital imprisonment convict Shiraj Meda in 2002 Godhra riots case had applied for interim bail on the ground of marriage in the family. However, Gujarat High Court rejected the plea saying that ground not sufficient for bail.
