Today Gujarat Police has launched an AI-powered tool called NARIT AI (Narcotics Analysis & RAG-based Investigation Tool) to strengthen investigations into drug-related crimes and improve conviction rates.

The initiative aims to make the process of probing narcotics cases more effective, ensure stronger evidence during court trials, and help secure stricter punishment for accused persons.
Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi said Gujarat remains firmly committed to eliminating drug-related crimes and dismantling narcotics networks at any cost.
Speaking in Gandhinagar, he said the state follows a zero-tolerance policy against narcotics and is determined to break every link in the drug supply chain.
