Gandhinagar: The AI Impact Regional Conference, chaired by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, witnessed several landmark announcements aimed at accelerating the state’s digital transformation and strengthening AI-driven governance.

The Chief Minister officially launched the Gujarat AI Stack, a comprehensive technological framework designed to integrate “plug-and-play” artificial intelligence solutions across government departments.

As part of this initiative, six major AI tools were introduced to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and citizen-centric nature of governance:
- Agriculture AI
- Scheme Eligibility Verification Tool
- Procurement Chatbot
- Grievance Classifier
- Document Extractor
- Chat Management Tool
Officials said these tools will significantly speed up decision-making, improve service delivery, and create a more transparent administrative ecosystem.

To ensure secure, scalable, and AI-ready digital governance, the state also launched the Gujarat Cloud Adoption Guidelines 2025.
These guidelines will make it easier for departments to adopt MeitY-empanelled cloud services and access national GPU compute infrastructure, enabling advanced AI applications and robust cloud security.
The conference also saw the signing of two important Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs):
1. Government of Gujarat – Google – BHASHINI
A strategic partnership aimed at strengthening multilingual AI, developing Gujarati language AI models, and enhancing digital public services.
2. Government of Gujarat – GIFT City – Henox
An MoU to establish a Cable Landing Station (CLS) in Gujarat.
This development is expected to position Gujarat as a global hub for digital connectivity and support the growth of green data centers, boosting the state’s digital infrastructure ecosystem.
State officials noted that these initiatives collectively strengthen Gujarat’s ambition to become a national leader in AI innovation, digital governance, and global connectivity.
