Under the chairmanship of Harsh Sanghavi, an event was held in Gandhinagar where accident insurance cheques were distributed by the Agriculture Bank, and permanent appointment letters were awarded to differently-abled employees.
As part of the celebrations marking 11 years of good governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Gujarat State Co-operative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank Ltd. (Kheti Bank), Ahmedabad, distributed accident insurance assistance cheques to the heirs of farmer beneficiaries.
Kheti Bank provides accident insurance coverage of up to ₹11 lakh to every farmer family that takes a loan, with the premium fully paid by the bank. This initiative serves as a crucial financial support system for farmers during difficult times.
During the event, ₹11 lakh was handed over to the heir of late Hemant Parmar, while ₹5 lakh each was given to the families of late Hiteshkumar Patel and late Bhanabhai Baraiya. Shri Sanghavi expressed his condolences to the bereaved families and hoped that this financial assistance would support them in the future.
In addition, as part of its social responsibility and humanitarian approach, five differently-abled employees were given permanent appointment letters after completing their probation period. These employees belong to branches in Mangrol, Junagadh, Kutiyana, Jetpur, and Morbi.
On this occasion, Shri Sanghavi encouraged the newly appointed employees and extended his best wishes for their bright future.
Chairman Shri Dollar Kotecha expressed gratitude to the Deputy Chief Minister and stated that Kheti Bank remains committed to the welfare of farmers and employees. He added that the presence of Shri Sanghavi has boosted the morale of staff and beneficiaries alike.
