The Indo-Swiss Blockchain Forum 2026, hosted by Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) and along with NSE IX and International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), concluded its final day with a high-level stakeholder interaction at GIFT City IFSC, India’s premier international financial services hub.

Over the course of three days, the event facilitated in-depth deliberations on blockchain fundamentals, DeFi innovations, crypto forensics, AML compliance, and cross-border financial risks. These discussions were enriched by experts from key government and regulatory institutions, including IFSCA, SEBI, NSE IX, RBI, and the University of Zurich, with the objective of fostering substantive engagement and generating actionable insights

The final day concluded with a stakeholder interaction, bringing together eminent experts for an enriching and thought-provoking session. The session witnessed the participation of experts from India and Switzerland, along with representatives from regulatory bodies, academia, and law-enforcement agencies, fostering meaningful dialogue and cross-sectoral exchange of perspective
The session commenced with an introductory address by Mr. Praveen Kamat, CISO, IFSCA, who highlighted the growing importance of blockchain technology and emphasized its relevance as a need of the hour. This was followed by a session by Mr. ShaanJhaveri from Terezao, an asset tokenization platform, who explained the functioning of the platform and shared insights on the support and facilitation received from IFSCA
This was followed by a keynote address by Mr. Joseph Joshy, CTO & CGM, IFSCA, who elaborated on the application of blockchain technology within the IFSC framework and highlighted its evolving dimensions, particularly the emergence of quantum blockchain and AI-driven blockchain solutions, underscoring their potential to reshape future regulatory and financial ecosystems.
The programme concluded with a panel discussion by Prof. Dr. Claudio J. Tessone, Prof of Block Chain and Distributed Ledger, University of Zurich (UoZ) Mr. Benjamin Kraner, Research Associate, UoZ Ms. Al-AmriEiman Saud, Doctoral Research Scholar,UoZ, Mr. Shirinkumar, GM RBI and Mr. Praveen S Kamat, GM IFSCAfocusing on the enablement of a robust blockchain ecosystem for India, marked by an exchange of best practices, regulatory perspectives, and collaborative insights among stakeholders.
Adding to it there was a vote of thanks by Mr. Hitesh Soni, NSE IX where he congratulated all the participants and thanked the experts for three days for rich dialogue delivery, insightful deliberations, and a meaningful exchange of ideas.
