Today in Ahmedabad, Shri AS Kiran Kumar Chairman ISRO Indian Space Research Organisation stated that ISRO is working towards the launch of Chandrayaan 2 during the first quarter of 2018.
ISRO would place 83 satellites into space in February. Earlier, it was planned to launch these satellites in January but due to technical reasons launch has been scheduled in February. We are focusing on enhancing the capacity of launch vehicle to make the history of launching 83 satellites at a time.
Chairman ISRO was at GTU Gujarat Technological University 6th Annual Convocation programme.
Gujarat minister Bhuendrasinh Chudasama, governor Om Prakash Kohli and other dignitaries attended the programme.
