Yesterday in Mehsana, during procession taken out during process Patidar member Mayur Patel who succumbed to bullet injury during police firing of August 26 in Ahmedabad.
The procession of Mayur Patel was teken out from Modhera to Toranwadi Chowk, when it reached at Toranwadi Chowk unknown persons had done stone throwing on Mehsana BJP Office which created turmoil.
Police has booked 40 to 50 persons under charges of rioting for stone throwing incident. Mayur Patel had died in Hope Hosipital of Ahmedabad after 122 days of struggle for life. Mayur Patel was cremated at Hindu Smashan Bhumi.
