Ahmedabad, 6th February, 2026:Navgujarat College of Computer Applications, part of the Navgujarat group of colleges, organized an informative exhibition titled “Data Odyssey and Digital Evolution.” The Exhibition was inaugurated on campus by distinguished alumni of the institution, Ms. Jharna Advani, along with the respected College Trustee Shree Snehal Shah. The event aimed to enhance students’ awareness and understanding of the journey of data and its growing significance in the digital era.
The exhibition traced the evolution of data from ancient collection and record-keeping methods to modern cloud technologies and data warehouses. Students explored various stages of data storage—from traditional physical records and early digital formats to advanced, scalable cloud-based systems.
A special focus was placed on data collection, processing, and analysis, showing how raw data transforms into valuable insights. It also highlighted data as a key resource for income generation, business intelligence, and decision-making in today’s data-driven economy.
Visitors also gained a glimpse into the future of data, including emerging trends, career opportunities, and the importance of data security and ethical usage.
