Under the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the ‘Nirmal Gujarat Award’ distribution ceremony and the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) Chintan Shibir were held today at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.
On the occasion, municipal corporations and municipalities of the state that performed excellently in the field of cleanliness were honored and awarded cheques worth a total of ₹18.50 crores. The logo of the campaign “My City, My Pride”, aimed at promoting urban cleanliness, was also unveiled at the event.
