Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Gujarat for 2 days

Two-day Gujarat visit begins from today. Prime Minister Modi is in Gujarat on a two-day visit (August 25–26, 2025), starting with Ahmedabad. He’s scheduled to inaugurate, lay foundation stones, and dedicate development projects worth over ₹5,400 crore across areas like urban development, energy, roads, and railways.

This evening around 6 PM, he will address a public gathering at the Khodaldham Ground in Ahmedabad, where several projects will be inaugurated or dedicated.

On August 26 at around 10:30 AM, PM Modi will visit Suzuki’s plant in Hansalpur to inaugurate localized production of hybrid battery electrodes and launch exports of Suzuki’s global e-VITARA BEV to over 100 countries.

In Ahmedabad, Modi strongly emphasized self-reliance—urging citizens and businesses to back “Made in India,” and reinforcing that the government will prioritize farmers, small entrepreneurs, cattle rearers, and shopkeepers amid rising external pressures like the looming 50% US tariffs.

The PM highlighted Gujarat’s potential as a future hub for semiconductor manufacturing, noting the state’s industrial strengths and invoking “Operation Sindoor” as an emblem of resilience and progress.

Despite past public discontent with BJP leaders in Nikol over civic issues, Modi held a public event there on August 25, receiving cheers but with the party reportedly wary ahead of upcoming local body elections.
