Ahmedabad | February 26, 2026 Creativity, clarity, and conscious thinking took centre stage as Gnanvatsal Swami delivered a powerful keynote address at Creative Spark 2026, held as part of the Festival of Advertising celebrations in Ahmedabad.
The event was jointly organized by the Ahmedabad Advertising Circle Association (AACA) and the Gujarat University Centre for Professional Courses (GU-CPC).
Addressing students, advertising professionals, and media leaders, Dr. Gnanvatsal Swami emphasized that creativity is not merely artistic expression but a disciplined approach to problem-solving. He urged young minds to “keep their eyes, ears, and mind open,” highlighting that while life presents constant challenges, every problem carries its solution within itself.
Drawing inspiration from the autobiography of Andre Agassi, Swamiji cited the example of Boris Becker to illustrate resilience, focus, and mental clarity under pressure. He noted that success in advertising and media — like in sports — demands composure, simplicity, and the courage to think independently.
Key Takeaways for Young Creatives
Swamiji encouraged students to:
- Keep ideas simple, clear, and purposeful
- Value freedom of thought as the foundation of innovation
- Combine academic learning with real-world experience
- Persist until meaningful solutions are found
- Believe in their own creative strength
In a metaphor that resonated strongly with the audience, he remarked:
“If you want to hear the chirping of birds, don’t buy a cage — plant a tree.”
Explaining the thought further, he said true creativity lies in creating ecosystems of opportunity rather than controlling outcomes — a principle particularly relevant to the advertising and media fraternity.
Beyond social harmony and peace, his address strongly emphasized originality, professional clarity, and career-oriented thinking within the creative industry.
Celebrating Innovation and 35 Years of Excellence
Creative Spark 2026 featured a student-focused competition recognizing innovation in advertising under themes such as Sports City Ahmedabad 2036 and Future in Our Hands – Technology, Nature & Humanity. Winners were honoured with the Visionary and Innovator Awards.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Manish Gandhi, President of AACA, stated that the association is proudly celebrating 35 Glorious Years through the Festival of Advertising and AACA Media Awards, along with initiatives including Kalasangam Creative Showcase, Creative Spark, Blood Donation Camp, and the AACA Cricket Carnival.
He also announced the upcoming launch of a Coffee Table Book documenting AACA’s 35-year journey, to be distributed nationwide in recognition of its contribution to India’s advertising fraternity.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment to nurturing ethical, innovative, and solution-driven creative professionals equipped to shape the future of the industry.
