Yash Raj Films released a new poster on Day 1 of Navratri 2025 on September 22.
The poster shows a close-up of Rani Mukerji’s hand holding a black handgun, pointed downward, with a blurry backdrop including a yellow police barricade marked “DELHI POLICE”.
Along with the visual, the debut was accompanied by the devotional chant “Aigiri Nandini” (or Algiri Nandini in some reports) which highlights the theme of victory of good over evil, tying it to Navratri’s symbolism.
Rani Mukerji returns as her character Shivani Shivaji Roy.
The film is directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra / Yash Raj Films.
Mardaani 3 is set to release on 27 February 2026 in cinemas.
