Ahmedabad : On August 15, 2025, Vrajendra Prasad — son of Gadipati Kaushalendra Prasad Maharaj of the Kalupur Swaminarayan Temple and the appointed successor to the Acharya position — filed an FIR in Ahmedabad. In his complaint lodged at the Ghatlodia police station, he alleged that his wife and her relatives had attempted to extort him, made threats, and conspired to divert ₹100 crore.
