Due to visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday to Surat city, entire city has into fortress. Security has been raised to highest level with deployment of 5346 police and allied forces including PC Police Commissioner Satish Sharma, 2 Additional Police Commissioner, 15 APC Assistant Police Commissioner, 39 JPC Joint Police Commissioner, 108 PI Police Inspector, 272 PSI Police Sub Inspector, 284 Ladies police, 4625 Constables / Head Constables.
3 SRP State Reserve Police teams with 208 jawans, 6 BDDS Bomb Detection and Disposal Squads teams, 3 Quick Response team and 6 ATS Anti Terror Sqaud teams will be deployed in the city for VVIP visit.
A bike rally and a 3D mapping show in a mall, and two sand structures have been prepared to welcome PM.
On Monday, the Prime Minster will inaugurate a diamond factory, owned by Hare Krishna Exports Pvt Ltd, one of the country’s largest diamond exporters, at Ichhapore and address nearly 10,000 diamond workers. He will also inaugurate a hospital in Katargam which has been built by Samast Patidar Samaj, and address members of the community.
