A grand “Swadeshotsav 2025” will be organized at the Gujarat University Ground in Ahmedabad from December 5 to 9, 2025. The festival will be inaugurated on December 5, 2025, by the Hon’ble Union Home and Cooperation Minister, Shri Amitbhai Shah. The event will continue till December 9, 2025, at the Gujarat University Ground. The primary objective of Swadeshotsav 2025 is to promote indigenous products, provide a national platform for local MSMEs and startups, and strengthen the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. The preparations for Swadeshotsav 2025 began with divine blessings and the presence of revered saints. On Saturday, November 29, 2025, the auspicious ceremony of Bhoomi Pujan marked the commencement of dome installation and fabrication work.
The ceremony was graced by the holy presence and blessings of Param Pujya Jagatguru Shri Dilip Deva Yaryaji Maharaj (President, Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti – Gujarat, Jagannath Temple, Karnavati), Param Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Vaishnav Samrat Mahant Shri Khakhi Akhada Mohandasji Maharaj (Executive President, Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti – Gujarat, Sai Mandir, Thaltej), Param Pujya Gau Bhakt Chaitanya Shambhu Maharaj (Viroyanagar), and Param Pujya Mahant Shri Damodar Dasji (Chitranjan) (Ramji Mandir Karkathal, Joint Mahamooli, Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti – Gujarat).
The ceremony was hosted by Shri Nirmalbhai Patel (Co-Coordinator, Swadeshi Jagran Manch) and Shri Hardikbhai Vachhani (Coordinator – Swaalambi Bharat Abhiyan, Treasury Head – Swadeshi Jagran Manch). Dr. Bharatbhai Patel (Hon. Director – Gujarat Province), Smt. Pratibhaben Jain (Hon. Mayor – Ahmedabad), and Shri Manohar Lal Agrawal (West Zone Organizer – Swadeshi Jagran Manch) were present as special guests.
