Gandhinagar, October 4, 2024: Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University takes pride in announcing the remarkable achievement of its faculty member. Dr Kinjal Patel, Associate Professor, Medicine Department of Homoeopathy at Aarihant Homeopathic Medical College and Research Institute has emerged as the overall champion at the 13th edition of Gujarat State Masters Swimming Championships held this year 2024. The event was held on September 15, 2024, in Surat.
Dr Patel bagged 04 individual gold medals and 02 team gold medals. Her achievements include securing the first place in the 50 metre freestyle, 50 metre backstroke, 100 metre freestyle, and 100 metre backstroke. Her team also emerged triumphant in both the 4×50 metre freestyle relay and the 4×50 metre medley relay competitions held as part of the championship.
With these achievements, Dr Patel was awarded with the prestigious title of overall champion of the state championships. She will now represent Gujarat at the upcoming National Swimming Championships, which are scheduled to take place in Bhopal.
