Yesterday One 50‑years‑old man Salimiya Rathod was arrested by Krishnanagar police. He posed as a police officer to extort gold ornaments from a civilian near the Parshvanath Canal in Naroda. Rathod has criminal record registered in 12 police stations of Ahmedabad, including Maninagar. Extortion worth Rs 12 crores ornaments was done in the case.
