Today Gujarat High Court stays several sections of recently implemented Gujarat Freedom of Religion (Amendment) Act, also known as “anti love jihad” law, from operation. These sections make an interfaith marriage as criminal offence. High Court stays section 3,4,5 and 6 of the act.
