Ahmedabad, 10th April, 2026: In a moment of pride, three young female athletes, who were supported and nurtured under the Chiripal Group’s Squash Excellence Programme, will now represent India at the prestigious 33rd Junior Asian Squash Championship. The selection results were recently announced and now, the trio will compete with other players from Asia, during the tournament held from May 20-24 this year in China.

Aadya Budhia (Girls U15 category) from Ranchi, who is coached by Mr Sudesh Kannah, along with Diva Parasampuriya (Girls U15 category) from Chennai, who is coached by Mr Ranvijay & Mr. Satish and  Riya Dalal (Girls U13 category) from Mumbai, who is coached by Mr Avinash Yadav, are the selected athletes.

Considered one of Asia’s most competitive junior squash tournaments, the championship serves as a key platform for emerging players to compete against top-ranked young talent from across the continent.

Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, Shri Ronak Chiripal, promoter, Chiripal Group, said, “We are extremely proud to see our young athletes represent India on an international stage. The credit goes to the coaches and parents who have played a pivotal role in shaping their journey. This is just the beginning. It is a testament to the athletes’ hard work and the support ecosystem we are building. Our vision is to create a strong pipeline of talent and contribute meaningfully to the growth of squash in India.”

The Chiripal Squash Excellence Programme is a dedicated initiative aimed at promoting squash in India by creating opportunities for young athletes through Coaching, Clinics, Competition, and Champion Support (athlete development programme). The programme is designed to support athletes across levels — from grassroots to elite — while contributing to the larger vision of strengthening India’s presence in international squash.

The programme aims to further expand its support to more squash athletes across junior and senior categories. The idea is to strengthen the ecosystem around Sports in India, particularly Squash and eventually enable Indian athletes to compete, train and perform at the highest levels across the world in professional tournaments and championships.

The participation of these athletes at the Junior Asian Championships marks another step forward in Chiripal Group’s efforts to build a long-term, sustainable pathway for squash development in India, with a focus on both grassroots and high-performance excellence.
